How to Make Cake in a Mug?

1. The 3 Main ingredients: What are these you might ask. It is simple. It is just sugar, self-raising flour, and butter. You don’t really have to do much to find these three ingredients in your house. Once you manage to find them, just add 2 tablespoons of sugar with three tablespoons of flour and 4 tablespoons of butter.
2. Add a little something: The best part about mugging a cake is that you can get creative. Here you can add almost anything you like to get the flavor of your choice. You could do a chocolate with either some cooking chocolate or just a tablespoon of cocoa. You could do some canned fruits, walnuts, a drizzle of caramel or even pour in a bit of jam to mix it up. Even M&Ms, your favorite cereal, and some crushed Oreos would do the trick. Go crazy with what you want your mug cake to be and never be shy to be a little experimental.
3. Wait till it bakes: This is both the easiest and the hardest bit in this recipe. But we will give you some anecdotes to the under-baked or over-baked problems you might face in this stage. If the surface of your mug cake looks wobbly, it means you need to give it another minute or two in the microwave. If it looks nice and risen with a few cracks running through the top then it is done. And voila, you can now dig into your very own Cake in your very own Mug. What bliss!
